My paintings are about me, you and everyone else. Discovery takes time and it’s never easy to grow but the payoff is always worth the work. Our past influences the future but doesn't define it. Trauma can be used and molded. We are all just on the corner of the next right turn.
TC Moore, is a self taught painter and musician based in Oakland/SF since 2007. His work explores consciousness , growth, time and the black experience in America. TC uses Oil stick, Acrylic, and fluid Acrylic paints to create his images. The subject matter comes from dreams, life experiences and photos.
TC received his BA in Cultural Anthropology and Sociology with a minor in Business from Duke University where he also played football . He was born in Alabama, raised in Minnesota, and has lived on both the east and west coast. TC grew up drawing and art has always been a part of his life.
