Francesco Stumpo is a multidisciplinary designer, artist and photographer currently based in San Francisco, California. Originally from Venezuela and Italian ancestors from Calabria, he grew up in between the Caribbean coast and cities, green mangoes and road trips, and a curiosity for meaning, conversation and palm trees.

As an artist, Francesco focuses on fine art, mixed-media and illustration work that converges architecture, abstraction, vibrant colors and organic frameworks. He’s inspired by city infrastructures, geographies and landscapes, and the space in between people and the built environment. He recently participated during ArtSpan's Summer 2019: Art-In-Neighborhood (AIN) with a group-exhibition at Ritual Coffee (Valencia St.) and released the first iteration of the #MoreLessProject, a public art and participatory installation, during Artspan’s annual Artwalk in the Excelsior District. Exhibitions also include a pop-up art show in San Francisco in December 2018, including past participations at various galleries and museum institutions in Venezuela between 2006 and 2013, with a first solo artist exhibit in 2012.

Select collaborations include organizations like San Francisco Zen Center, The Little Lodge, Adhesivo Magazine’s Venezuelan Artist Collective (2017), and the Brooklyn Art Library through the Sketchbook Project (2017).
