Laura Gao is a queer artist, author, bread lover and world traveler based in San Francisco. Known for her viral comic, “The Wuhan I Know”, Laura’s art has also been featured in the MOCA in NYC, NPR and HuffPost. Her debut graphic memoir and Indie Bestseller, MESSY ROOTS, was published in March 2022 with HarperCollins.
